Forest School Nursery Elgin

													
The park has many wonderful features – from the many varieties of trees, the pond, the river + bridges and open spaces. It is overlooked by the magnificent cathedral, the walls of which provide an amazing play space. The Biblical Garden is beautiful to visit, having partnered with REAP to learn about growing our own provisions + looking after this very special environment. The resident wildlife have become quite used to our presence and the nursery children know them – the families of swans + ducks who raise their young on the pond, the heron + the family of otters who we are privileged to see, the deer who are often still enjoying the tranquility of the park before many people arrive, + the bird life in its abundance. The children attending our Elgin nursery love their park. They truly care about this environment + that of the wider world around them. They become observant + responsible, helping to identify + remove litter + contribute to making the park a cleaner, safer space.
